Celebrate Galentine’s in Downtown Marietta
Join us for our first Galentine’s event on Tuesday, February 13!
Wit & Whimzy and Clutch Collective MOV, two boutique shops in downtown Marietta, are hosting their first Galentine’s Event on Tuesday, February 13th, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Located at 154 and 152 Front Street, the two shops are partnering with local businesses Sips Coffee Truck and Honey Bun Bakery to sweeten the event.
The day before Valentine’s Day, Galentine’s Day is an annual holiday celebrating positive, female friendships. The holiday originated from the show Parks and Recreation in 2010 and has become a staple event over the last fourteen years.
“We love collaborations, and our Galentine’s event is a fun one!” said Laura Pytlik, owner of Wit & Whimzy. “Drinks, sweets, and free friendship bracelets - a great way to celebrate your gal pals, daughters and sisters!”
Wit & Whimzy and Clutch Collective are owned and operated by mother and daughter duo, Laura Pytlik and Sarah Arnold. The two are excited to welcome the community for a festive evening event full of fun and friendship. Attendees are invited to make their own friendship bracelets and will receive a free, inspiring gift with every purchase.
Sips Coffee Truck and Honey Bun Bakery will each offer a special menu with exclusive, holiday-themed treats. Drink specials include The Love Bug, a berry limeade, and a Cherry Bomb Mocktail, with hibiscus rose, lime, and grapefruit with bitters. Treats include large and small boxed assortments and individual cookies, including the favorite Monster Cookie.
“I’m so excited to be part of the Galentine’s Party! This is such a fun way to bring people together to celebrate connection and have a good time with friends,” said Stacey Saunders, owner of Honey Bun Bakery. “I’m excited to offer customer favorites that will pair well with Sips’s menu and the also the vibe of the evening. What an awesome collection of small, local businesses. I love it and hope to see you there!”
